About Molly Wirsing
Molly Wirsing grew up in Park Falls, Wisconsin, in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest and graduated from Park Falls High School in 2002. She went to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to major in Women's/Gender Studies and History and received the Ethnic Studies Excellence Award for participation and excellence in her Ojibwe Language and Culture courses. After 3 years, she transferred to Northcentral Technical College and later to Northland College to pursue her passion in the area of education. She graduated cum laude in 2015 with degrees in Elementary and Secondary Education with minors in History and Social Studies while receiving the Secondary Education Award of Merit.
In 2015, Ms. Wirsing and her son moved to Bayfield, WI where she began her career as a teacher teaching High School Special Education for grades 9 through 12 at Bayfield High School. She is currently continuing her education seeking licensure in Special Education through an online program with Viterbo University.
