EDU 619 Collaboration and Transition: The School and the Community
Course Artifact: Special Education Community Agency Handbook
The artifact that I have chosen to represent this course is a Special Education Community Agency Handbook that acts as a guide for services that that are offered by agencies found throughout the Bayfield, Washburn, and Ashland Areas. This guide is a compilation of various local resources that were explored during EDU 619 that offer services to students who are in the process of transitioning from high school to college, the world of work, or whatever their next step happens to be. Acting as a 'one stop shop' resource for special education teachers in the region, social workers who are new to the area, and for those who work with people with disabilities, this guide outlines contact information and the specialized services that each agency offers.
